Another Family Fun Night is coming….
Valentines Parent/Child Formal Dance
Come and enjoy an evening of dancing and refreshments. This is our first formal dance and we hope to see lots of familiar faces. Please dress appropriately and parents must stay with children.
Friday February 12, 2010 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
We are pre-selling corsages and boutonnieres. Order due by Friday Feb 5. Please make checks out to Germain PTA.

Flower pick up will be at the dance. Order form is on the bottom of the pink flyer.

I have not received any photos yet for our January contest so your odds of winning this month are very high. To enter, please send us your best group photos of Germain students. The more photos you send, the greater your chances of winning a Starbucks gift card! Plus you’ll see your very own photos published in the school yearbook.
We’d love to have photos from any of the events so far this school year as well as photos from field trips and holiday class parties.
Some Photo Tips:
* Please take high resolution, digital pictures.
* Please do not use your phones to take pictures, use your camera instead.
* Pictures should be taken on campus, not at home.
To enter the contest, just email your digital photos to deekaub@yahoo.com or burn a CD of your photos and turn them into the Yearbook box in the office by Friday, January 29th along with your name, your child’s name, your phone number, and email address.

Don’t miss this opportunity! Friday, December 18th is the last day to send in your photos for consideration in our December monthly photo contest. I have not received any entries yet this month, so your odds of winning are really high. I just know that you must have some cute shots you’ve taken at your child’s holiday party in their classroom or a recent field trip that they went on just sitting in your camera. For those of you who forget to download your photos, don’t worry, you can send in any pictures you’ve taken from the first day of school until now. Wouldn’t you love to see a photo you took printed up in our yearbook? As a bonus, you could also win a Starbucks Gift Card! You could win a Starbucks Gift Card for your photo of Germain Street Students! Tuesday, November 24th is the last day to submit your pictures for the November Group Photo Contest for the yearbook. I know that many of you may have pictures you took during the Halloween Parade or at other school events that have occurred so far this year. Please consider sending these in!
