PTA UPDATE: Please join us on February 22 @ 7 pm for an important meeting regarding campus safety. With the recent Lock Down at several Woodland Hills schools we need to make sure we all know what to do should a Lock Down happen here. How can you help your child’s classroom? Do you know where to go to pick up you child during an emergency?
PTA EVENT: Are you coming to the Valentine’s Formal Dance? Enjoy an evening of dancing and good times to celebrate love and togetherness. Friday February 11 6:30 pm – 8 pm in the auditorium.
PTA Elections: Do you want your child to be proud of you? Get involved and see the amazing things that can grow with your help. Love to plan events? Solve problems? Work with a fun group to make our school the best it can be? Join the 2011-2012 Executive Board. Elections will begin soon. Think about how you can help your school, fellow parents, and all students. Help us make the next school year exciting and fresh with new members and new ideas. Make a difference and volunteer.
PTA Fund Raising News: The 2011 Spring Festival is in the works. Committees have been formed and we still need enthusiastic and creative volunteers to help plan this event. If you are interested in joining a committee please contact PTA President Michelle Gunther. This years festival is planned to be on Saturday April 30th. Ask your employers if they can donate money or goods to your child’s school for the silent auction.
5th Grade News: The 5th grade class will be selling Valentine Grams to be distributed on Friday Feb 11. Buy a Val-O-Gram for $1 and it will include a World’s Finest Chocolate bar.
Yearbook News:The pre-order are now completed. From now on the yearbook will be $21. Send us your photos from the assemblies, field trips, or class parties. Upload info was in previous emails.
