Last push for the Cheesecake and Cookie Dough fundraising

Dear Parents,

Two more days and the Sweet Success PTA fundraiser will be over. This Tuesday, March 22, 2011 is our last day. Please make sure to send your envelope with your order and the the corresponding dollar amount by Wednesday, March 23rd. in the morning. These cheesecakes as well as all the other items are truly excellent, so even if you can buy one only, it will still be enjoyable and will help your PTA.  For each item that is purchased, the PTA makes five dollars.

We still have plenty of prizes to win with the barrel of monkey raffle. If you have sold, or you know you will sell a minimum of  four items, please sign your child’s voucher and have him or her bring it back to school. We will have one last raffle tomorrow on Monday, March 21st. We still have the two razor scooters that no one has yet won.

PTA Meeting Reminder…. 3-15-11

PTA Meeting: Tuesday March 15 is our monthly association meeting @ 7:00 pm. Please come and join us with a dessert pot luck, raffle, and important meeting info like elections! We will also have photos from our Valentines Dance available for sale at meetings only. $5 each!

PTA Elections: As a PTA members it is your right and privilege to vote in the elections. Come and join us as we vote in the 2011-2012 executive board.

Student Photos for the Yearbook

Dear Germain Parents – The Yearbook Committee is planning on being on campus tomorrow, Friday March 11, to take photos of the students that were not present on the days that the class photos were taken for the 2010/2011 school year.

We want to have photo of all of our students in the yearbook!

Tomorrow, starting at 8:00 am, yearbook committee members will be going to each class and asking for the students that didn’t get their photo taken to step outside for a quick snapshot. 

The final opportunity to have the missing photos taken will be next Friday, March 18.

PTA NEWS: March 7 – March 18, 2011

PTA Meeting: Tuesday March 15 is our monthly association meeting @ 7:00 pm. Please come and join us with a dessert pot luck, raffle, and important meeting info like elections! We will also have photos from our Valentines Dance available for sale at meetings only.

PTA Elections: The current board is ending their term and they need a few new faces to join the fun team. 3rd and 4th grade parents join now to make your child’s year fun and memorable. No PTA eboard = no field trips, assemblies, and Valentine’s Dance next year. It takes people to plan and WE NEED YOU! The more that help, the easier it is. Get to know more parents, teachers, and staff and feel the reward of volunteering on the PTA board.

PTA Fund Raising News: Sweet Success started this week.  Buy and sell cheese cakes, cookie dough, and other yummy items. Each item is $14.00. Help support the PTA with a purchase of a delicious dessert. Sale starts now until March 22. Orders will be delivered on April 4th. There are lots of prizes and fun celebrations for those who sell 4 or more.
